Terms of Service
Welcome to Monolemma Studios. These terms of service outline the rules and regulations for using our web design and development services.
1. Service Agreement
By engaging our services, you enter into a binding agreement with Monolemma Studios Pte. Ltd. We commit to:
- Providing professional web design and development services
- Meeting agreed-upon project milestones and deadlines
- Maintaining clear communication throughout the project
- Delivering work that meets modern web standards and best practices
2. Project Scope and Deliverables
All projects will be defined by:
- A detailed project scope document
- Specific deliverables and timelines
- Agreed-upon technical specifications
- Payment terms and milestones
Changes to the project scope may affect timeline and costs and will require written approval from both parties.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide necessary content and materials in a timely manner
- Review and provide feedback within agreed timeframes
- Make payments according to the agreed schedule
- Obtain necessary rights for all provided content
- Maintain their website and content after project completion
4. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment:
- Clients receive full rights to the custom design elements created for their project
- Monolemma Studios retains rights to showcase the work in our portfolio
- Third-party elements (themes, plugins, images) remain subject to their original licenses
5. Payment Terms
- 50% deposit required to commence work
- Remaining balance due upon project completion
- Additional features or revisions will be billed separately
- Late payments may incur additional fees
6. Project Timeline
We commit to meeting agreed-upon deadlines, provided that:
- Client provides required materials on time
- Feedback and approvals are given within specified timeframes
- No significant scope changes are requested
- Force majeure events do not occur
7. Website Hosting and Maintenance
Post-launch services include:
- Optional hosting services with specified uptime guarantees
- Regular maintenance and updates (if subscribed)
- Security monitoring and backups
- Technical support as per service agreement
8. Warranty and Support
- 30-day bug fix warranty after project completion
- Support for issues related to delivered functionality
- Documentation and training as specified in the project scope
- Extended support available through maintenance packages
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement if:
- The other party breaches these terms
- Project requirements cannot be reasonably met
- Written notice is provided 30 days in advance
Upon termination, client shall pay for work completed to date.
10. Limitation of Liability
Monolemma Studios shall not be liable for:
- Content errors or omissions
- Loss of data or revenue
- Third-party service disruptions
- Issues arising from client-side modifications
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved in Singapore courts.
